In older watches, the watch spring has often been replaced at some point, and it is possible that the wrong spring was installed at the time.
At Horlogeveren.nl, we can check this for you so that you can be certain the new spring is the right one.
Email us the caliber number of the movement you are working on, and we will check for you which spring is the correct one. We usually have these in stock, and you will receive a link from us so you can order the spring in the webshop.
What to do if the exact watch spring cannot be found?
Take a look at the springs that are 0.5 mm. be narrower:
- Example instead of 1.50 mm. watch at 1.45 mm.
There are often options to find a new spring in the right proportions because 0.5 mm. often results in a negligible difference.
